Photos of..Antibes!

Every year at Saint Valentine's day, the city of Antibes invites several Italian chefs to let everyone taste their amazing masterpieces made of chocolate.
Useless to say that more than 44000 people fight their way in 3 days :-P

This is my favourite beach, as in no other location you can swim admiring such a wonderful panorama: from Antibes to the Isle of Corse, passing by the Chatedral of Antibes, the Old Town, the Port Vauban, the Fort Carre`, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Nice and La Turbie (from left to right).
Furthermore, having a cool swim on the 1st of May while the peaks on the Alps yet covered by snow is priceless. :-)

There's nothing better than feeling the breeze under a warm sun on a saturday afternoon.

Peynet, famous for the "Amoureux" series, spent some years of his life here in Antibes. Strangely enough, several other artists chose this region to get closer to their inspirations ;-)

Around 8000 Italians have chosen Antibes as primary residence, but lots of others are just coming for holidays

Juan-les-Pins is still part of the city of Antibes, but it's very different from it because of its focus on (night) life. Here you can find more bars, more discos, more sand beaches, the famous Jazz Festival, the 5-star Hotels, the Congress Center,..and everything that revolves around: people! lots of people!

On these sandy beaches we have played several and endless beach-volley matches with Wilson.

Around 15cm of hail come down from the sky all of a sudden on the evening of the 24th Nov 08. By melting down, it resembled snow.

Natives are not that used to snow... ;-)

Never forget you are in the Cote d'Azur..

People usually come here to enjoy themselves :-D

The matches for the World Cup in South Africa showed off the broad range of nationalities of people living&working in the Cote d'Azur.

This is an amazing sculpture by Jaume Pleuma, located on the Bastion Saint Jaume within the Port Vauban.
